The Govinda of Kannada cinema 130 films actor cum politician Jaggesh seems to have taken another Hindi film ‘Sandwich’ for inspiration to his ‘Double Decker’ Kannada film. The film by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Cine Productions a nonstop comedy entertainer starts the regular shoot from 20th of this month but the maiden shot for the film was captured on Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Idol in Vellore that was installed during by Vishistadwaitha philosopher Sri Ramanujacharaya.

Jaggesh has two heroines Shradda Arya and Aditi Gautami in ‘Double Decker’. Double Decker is often referred to a bus. Jaggesh being the Vice President of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation the branch of it BMTC runs the double Decker buses in city roads has chosen this title that gives double meaning.

Apparently the ‘Double Decker’ also gives the meaning of ‘Sandwich’ – one above the other! That also explains the inspiration he has taken.

Victory Vasu is directing his third Jaggesh film in his career. Earlier he directed Jaggesh in ‘Patela and Kodagana Koli Nungitha’. Jai Pal the expert in conducting music in the familiar cams of Harris Jayaraj and others is turning independent music director from this ‘DD’.
